One of the few days per year (or maybe once a year) where people dump their big trash things. Many people were digging through these piles.

For Macro Monday's theme "Trash or rubbish"
Now, really if I wanted a macro of rubbish, I would need to take a picture of myself, taking a picture in low light. THAT is rubbish!
I bought these little ice creams for everyone the other night for dessert. It is nice because everyone gets their favorite kind of ice cream!!
"Take out the papers and the trash
Or you don't get no spendin' cash
If you don't scrub that kitchen floor
You ain't gonna rock and roll no more

Is it trash, or is it art? In this case, I guess it can be both. While walking around in Atlanta, I noticed this trash bin that had a hole melted out of its side. It was like a trash diorama! It was such a compelling art concept, I wish I had thought of it. I have often said that some of the best art comes from accidents and creative chaos. I am not sure which one is responsible for this masterpiece, but I had to capture it. The best street art I found that day!

Last time I walked past the Restore Store there was a similarly built ostrich where this turtle is now.
Nice view of marin from the presidio. i took this from some military thingy that nobody goes on so thats probably why they're trash bags there. and if this photo had sound, you would have to listen to some guy playing really badly on his clarinet
I love this. but hate the fact that I am able to take this kind of photograph. I hate the fact that we do not take pride in what we own, and where we live. In no other country have I seen the amount of trash that I see in America everyday. booooo lazy Americans!! find a trashcan!
the saddest thing about this photo is that about 20 feet that<-----away there was an empty dumpster.
loads of bull shit if you ask me.
