This little gecko was found in Prime's bathroom. That's her hand fencing him in.

Interesting patterns I noticed as I ate my watermelon... I like how the light comes through on this one.

The spotted bat (Euderma maculatum) is perhaps one of North America's most striking mammals. Its translucent pink ears, nearly as long as its body, are the largest of any bat found in the United States, and it has pink wings to match. This bat appears to feed almost exclusively on moths, which it captures high above the ground. Its echolocation calls are particularly quiet, so its moth prey is unable to hear it hunting. It is one of the few bats that uses echolocation frequencies low enough to be audible to humans.

This photo was taken at ISO 100 however I'm not so sure how a huge amount of noise came about on the mid-range tones. One umbrella (med power) on the right of the model and one softbox of equal power the left of her - allowing for the freeze of her moving hair and the soft, even lighting of most of her body,

This painting was created for my 2011 solo exhibition "The Poem of Ecstasy". All the artworks for this show were inspired by the classical music of 20th century Russian composer Alexander Scriabin.

out of dozen or so persimmons we got in November, only a few survived so far, some eaten, some got a damage and oozed out - hence did not retain shape. Now, there are a few left (I believe three). All of them are quite translucent, this one in particular.

Soon I will spa and tackle that hair, but for now I am loving her just like this.

Beech woodland has that special quality at this time of year. The light passes right through their leaves brightening up an otherwise dull looking scene.

Five 20’ x 5’ panels were created using a repeated leaf pattern traced on translucent white fabric. A mixture of amber shellac and powder graphite painted around each leaf creates a unique opaque/translucent effect. The viewer is able to see through each translucent leaf.
