Assignment: PCA71 – Transformation

Mission: The goal of this assignment is to create a work that embodies the idea of transformation - how you see it, what it means to you as a person and as a photographer. I believe you can have success showing transformation in a concrete or metaphysical way. Go with what you know! Submissions SOOC to Photoshop creations are perfectly acceptable.
What it took (WIT): I had several ideas to explore "Transformation" visually but while at a kids fair this opportunity of using "face-painting" to present transformation just presented.
It was extremely hard to get a good angle as there were 6 painters + 6 kids + parents sitting around a small table with the paintings, nevertheless I feel this angle best presents the design, the concentration of the artist and how her face "Transforms" into art.
In Post I only cropped (to eliminate parts of the table) boosted the saturation a bit, cloned out a white area above her head (overexposed water vending machine in the background), and sharpened.
