Les dirigeants ne l’ont jamais caché, l’objectif de la saison est la montée en Fédérale 2. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire, en ce tout début d’exercice, c’est que le club normand fait les choses plutôt bien. Avec cinq victoires en autant de rencontres, auxquelles il convient d’ajouter trois bonus offensifs, la formation normande laisse très peu de choses en route. Et pourtant, à Concarneau, la tendance a été un peu longue à se dessiner.
Le Stade Caennais veut rester invaincu « le plus longtemps possible »
Menés 10 à 3, les joueurs bretons faisaient de la résistance ne concédant qu’un seul essai transformé et une pénalité. En revanche, au retour des vestiaires, la troupe caennaise lâchait les chevaux en franchissant la ligne de vérité à quatre reprises, avec un buteur, Valentin, en totale réussite. « Nous avons mis effectivement une demi-heure à prendre nos repères, explique Hugues Roussel, un des entraîneurs caennais. Nous allons tenter de conserver cette belle dynamique en essayant de rester invaincus le plus longtemps possible. »

La domination du pack caennais, illustrée par une troisième ligne très influente, s’est amplifiée et les locaux de fait, ont fini par céder.

Pas facile de prendre le relais de Ronan Sionneau, parti à Toulouse et bien sûr de Quentin Guillou son capitaine, à qui il doit beaucoup. « C’était mon coach en moins de 16 ans. Aujourd’hui, j’ai pris sa place, mais la concurrence reste saine entre nous. » Pourtant, Raphaël Coic a su saisir sa chance. Et avec maestria, si l’on se réfère à ses quatre pénalités réussies face à Pont Audemer, plus 2 qui ont touché les barres.
Ce 12 novembre, le Stade Caennais Rugby club s’est imposé toute la journée face au RC Concarnois.
Fédérale 3 : retour sur les temps forts.
C’est à Concarneau que s’est tenue la rencontre. Elle a été arbitré par Philippe Larbaletrier, Tady Walsh et Francois Xavier Lockhart. Notre équipe a remporté le match avec un score de 8 à 38, ne laissant pas une chance à l’adversaire.
Malgré une résistance des bretons en première mi-temps, le SCRC a réussi à transformés 5 essais. Nous avons également marqué une pénalité, nous offrant 3 points supplémentaires.
Le RC Concarnois ont, quant à eux, inscrit un essai et marqué une pénalité.

« Le match d’hier contre Concarneau nous a permis de voir notre potentiel. Nous avons les ressources nécessaires pour gagner. Pour atteindre notre objectif de montée en Féd 2, il faudra surtout que les joueurs puissent croire en eux, qu’ils soient ambitieux et jouent chacun des matchs avec importance. Nos stratégies de jeux vues en entraînement doivent être appliquées avec sérieux et maturité rugbystique. Quelles que soient les victoires, il est primordial de savoir rester humble car les actions parlent plus que les mots. »
Excellence B : retour sur les temps forts.
La rencontre a été arbitré par Thomas Gandarias. Nos joueurs enthousiastes, ont réalisé une démonstration convaincante. Notre effectif s’en est sorti à la perfection contre le RC Concarnois avec un score de 0 à 88.
La combativité de nos joueurs s’est ressentie sur la pelouse : nous avons pu profiter d’un vrai festival offensif. Pas moins de 14 essais ont été marqués (dont 9 transformés) ! Aucun essai a été marqué par notre adversaire.
Classement
Notre effectif obtient une victoire bonifiée ! Au terme de ce match, nous prenons la 1ère place du classement alors que nos adversaires rejoignent la 7ème place.
Antoine Bierent, homme du match de l’Excellence B, revient sur cette rencontre :
« Très belle victoire aujourd’hui face à Concarneau. Je pense que c’est pour nous un match référence, abouti de la 1ère à la dernière minute. Mais l’année est longue, il nous reste à affronter de gros adversaires, à commencer par l’ASRUC la semaine prochaine ; on devra gagner cette rencontre pour maintenir notre place de leader. »

Nouveau gros déplacement des équipes A et B du Stade Caennais ce dimanche 12 novembre 2023 à Concarneau. Elles repartent avec deux victoires, 8-38 pour la A, 0-88 pour la B.
La série d’invincibilité des équipes du Stade Caennais est impressionnante depuis le début de saison. Souvent, les scores ne laissent aucune place à leurs adversaires pour revenir. Ce dimanche 12 novembre 2023 n’est pas exempté. Les joueurs de Caen (Calvados) sont repartis de Concarneau avec deux victoires (0-88 pour la réserve, 8-38 pour la A).
« Les voyants sont au vert »
Hugues Roussel, entraîneur du Stade Caennais : « C’était un nouveau déplacement long, plus de cinq heures de bus comme lors du déplacement à Plabennec. La préparation d’avant-match a été un peu tronquée par rapport aux intempéries, mais malgré tout très sérieuse de la part du groupe et des joueurs. On a validé ce que l’on a bossé toute la semaine et on repart avec deux victoires bonifiées.
On est hyper satisfait du déroulé des matchs. Sur la B, forcément l’opposition était faible, mais les joueurs ont respecté les consignes demandées. Le score était là et ils ont joué sur la totalité de la rencontre. Concernant la A, on a su être patients, car en face, il y avait beaucoup d’envie et c’était un vrai combat sur la première demi-heure (10-3 à la mi-temps). On marque quatre essais en deuxième période avec un jeu abouti et la validation du bloc de travail que l’on a travaillé sur les trois dernières semaines.

I chose to do My Bloody Valentine for a movie poster. I took a picture from google and free transformed it so it would not be too big. I put a few eyes in the poster because i thought it would make it look a little more scary. I made it so the eyes would be neon black. I also changed the opacity of the eyes so it would look like they are part of the poster its self.
