The low dawn sunlight shining through the misty atmosphere created some lovely warm light that contrasted beautifully with the cooler greens and blues in the sky and shadows. I aimed to create a relatively simple, subtle feel to the colours. and retained a fair amount of cooler colours to help create a tranquil, calming feel to the final image. The simple, natural forms within the landscape, and the lack of obvious compositional focal point helped create a feeling of space and distance, giving the mind and imagination "room to breathe" within the image.
