Buddhist Memorial Park in Nakhon Nayok Province of Thailand. Arriving by bike early in the morning, I had this place to myself! Captured with a Samsung S7 mobile.

We have now felt 3 small earthquakes in the past two weeks, all in the low 3's on the Richter scale. It has been weighing heavily on my mind that we are going to get a large one and we have been on pins and needles. The van is in snow but I was trying to make it feel like it is on a beach somewhere. Not sure if I accomplished that effect but at least it took my mind off of earthquakes for a bit.
Painted skies of pastel winter lights in sunset in a cloudy day with red cabin and snow, reflection and fantastic layer fjord at Kjosneset, Highway 862, Senja, Norway.

Lower Tinkham Tarn, a place of tranquility.
Inspired by the example of one of my new contacts I decided to try for a panorama even though we forgot to take a tripod along on this hike. This image is a combo of three shots.
Did not get for sunset last evening due to the grim weather conditions so I have posted another image of the sunrise last Saturday morning at Langstone Harbour which was taken at around 5-30am about 30 minutes before sunrise.
It was a lovely still morning providing some decent reflections of the pre-glow colours of the sun and yachts on the calm waters of the harbour!
0.6 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad filter.

This one is dedicated to my dear friend Anne-Marie who is a big fan of my home country Mauritius and has been there several times!
Going deeper in the archives! From my Mauritius archives, taken almost one year ago while I was on holidays there and shot with my good old Sony A100. The location is known as 'Gris Gris' (literally "Grey Grey"), near the town of Souillac in the extreme south coast. This place is named after its gloomy and moody atmosphere. It was certainly not gloomy that day!
Please check all the shots from my Reunion - Mauritius Holidays 2008.
Not on the moon and not a base but a restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand, Baltic Sea, Germany.
Keine Mondlandebasis aber das relativ neue Restaurant auf dem Pier in Timmendorfer Strand, Ostsee.
The last week of my Vacation for this year. Look like the weather will be good, so I will enjoy walks in the nature here in Alta for a few days, before I drive over to Porsanger to see my father. There I will walk the places I love and maybe explore a new place or two. So many plans but not enough time, so just have to make the best of it. To enjoy life is the most important.
Wish you all a Happy new Week
