The Bayham track in the garden of Scotney castle, is possibly of medieval origin. It may have been worn away by herds of pigs being driven from nearby Bayham Abbey in search of food or to market.
A national Trust property.

The train was conveying track panels and and various waste products (e.g. old concrete sleepers) presumably from weekend engineering work.
This is a pair of used Campagnolo Pre-Record Pista, Flange Grandi, Large flange hubs. 36 holes, 100mm and 235gr. front - 36 holes 120mm and 310gr. rear. Complete with lock nuts and lock ring. The thread is Italian 35 x 24F.

The brazed frame is tracked and the dropouts are spaced to 130mm. This will allow not only the use of a more modern road hub but better suit a modified classic hub with a seven or eight speed screw on block.
You can never go wrong with a tutu, umbrella and a pair of rain boots.
Add an old railroad track and you can get some fun stuff...
I can't wait to edit the rest of these.
These tracks in the snow highlight rodent behavior in colder months. Note that the track follow the periphery of the building, looking for an entry point.

One of our older customers still runs this road track frame reguarly. We built it in 1958, althouth its seen a few resprays since then.
