Seen from the towpath along the Lancaster canal on our daily walk. He suddenly emerged from a garden shed, ran around the garden, and then went into hiding. He came from next door, and the following day was back in his run, with his mate. One day of freedom, doing what comes natural.
We went for a stroll along the side of the Coventry Canal near Fradley Junction and I took loads of photos because I wanted to try out some pastels at home.
And this was the result.
Drawn from memory. This is only the second time I've played with pastels.
