4x5 homebrew with 0.3mm pinhole, focal length 30mm, exposure 13 seconds, fomapan 100, developed in D76 - (less grain than the original facebook version)
This towpath is beautiful in any season, and it makes a great shortcut to the train station. The canal was completed in 1790 as a way of linking Oxford with the West Midlands (it reaches just north of Coventry). Nowadays it's used just for leisure craft. The canal is home to ducks, moorhen, and fierce big swans.

Seen from the towpath along the Lancaster canal on our daily walk. He suddenly emerged from a garden shed, ran around the garden, and then went into hiding. He came from next door, and the following day was back in his run, with his mate. One day of freedom, doing what comes natural.
Towpath along canal carries many visitors... Think that's a little Dunnock (Prunella modularis) crossing.
