Looking towards the sun you can see the windfarm and the factory buildings silhouetted against the yellow sky.
Towards the end of a 24 hour blockade of the main entrance to Bishopcourt, June 1983. The protesters on the road had been there all night.

Ashcombe Mill sits between the town of Lewes and Kingston Nr Lewes in East Sussex. Although the original footings still exist, in 2009 work started on the complete reconstruction of the Mill itself. In 2012 one pair of sweeps were added. This shot was taken in the morning of our penultimate day as we walk along the South Downs Way towards Alfristion.

Towards an Inclusive Peace is a three-year project (2017-2019) part of the Caux Forum that looks beyond security driven approaches to violent extremism. By taking a peacebuilding perspective based on conflict transformation practices, Towards an Inclusive Peace creates a space for the discussion of a human-centered approach to address this phenomenon.

Finally getting around to processing the photos from my week in Cornwall in August! This one is looking towards Longships Lighthouse from a point between Sennen and Lands End.
Our first mountain! Well hill really, it’s only 558m high, but the first thing we’ve climbed non the less. Not too bad going up, followed some old logging tracks most of the way which made for faster progress. Note to hikers behind us – your best bet for camping in this forest is by the old logging cabins at the end of this track.
Moments before, there was a heavy downpour in the early evening and I waited for hours for the rain to stop, refusing to leave the location with nothing. The wait felt like eons yet worthwhile after the rain finally stopped. This shot of one of the beautiful water displays at Marina Barrage was created a few seconds before all the water displays were shut down for the day. What a close shave!

Ok, got my £5 ND4 filter through the post today, so screwed it onto my 29mm Pentacon, grabbed my tripod and headed to the beach at dusk.
1) Even with the ND4 it was still too light to get really long exposures (10 sec+)
2) At f22 you can see ALL the dirt on your sensor, lens and filter.
3) In the Summer it can still get very cold as you wait for the sun to set....
