My yearly visit to see this Osprey nest in late afternoon.
The light was good but the wind was blowing at me making for a faster moving bird flying towards me.
Nikon D500 and Sigma 150-600mm lens is a nice combination! I should have bought these years ago.
Southern Alberta, Canada.
Non-HDR shot taken a few nights ago after work. This is looking towards Tokyo Station on my way to the pool from the office.

Aristodikos. Marble, circa 500 B.C.
1.95m tall
The name Aristodikos is carved at the statue's base.
This Kouros ("young man") has short hair and the hands are not attached to the sides of the body. The statue with its more rounded, less stylized characteristics, and with its light pose (it is not as "stiff" as other kouroi,) represents a forward step in the development of art, and prepares the ground for the eventual move towards classical sculpture.
