Throughout the experience, visitors to the JCB Lounge will have opportunities to access information about the wine they are drinking.

Ideum has collaborated with JCB to create an entirely new wine tasting experience for their Napa Valley tasting lounge. Guests gather around a custom Ideum Platform 55 multitouch table with a gold top and black crocodile-skin base. Then they are guided through a 45-minute tasting experience in which they can explore the inspiration for and information about the wines they taste. The table interacts directly with the wine glasses, which have conductive 3D-printed bases made by our partners at Graphene 3D.

Ideum collaborated with the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) to create a new application to orient visitors to their facilities. Up to 4 users access their own personal viewing windows that change size to make the best use of screen space. Windows, images, and videos resize dynamically throughout the interaction to optimize the experience for the current number of users.

The application will be displayed on an Ideum Platform 55 multitouch table with a 4K UHD display and projected capacitive touch.

In the application, visitors will learn about SLAC’s work onsite and around the world. The important research conducted at SLAC facilities is highlighted in stories, images, and videos.

We've recently added a new laser to our set of fabrication tools. This will be used for small parts for our touch tables and for custom fabrication.

Our industrial design and hardware teams recently built this custom 84" drafting table that will be used to display murals for a traveling museum exhibition. To learn more about our custom hardware, check out our blog.

Ideum’s in-house Industrial Design team did a great job matching form with function with the new Colossus. The fully redesigned Colossus touch table, with a massive 86″ display, is now available. Like its predecessor, this new version of the Colossus has a 4K Ultra HD display, is hardened for public spaces, and supports up to eight simultaneous users. We’ve updated the touch screen and the powerful integrated computer system in the table base. The overall table form factor is sleeker, as seen in such design touches as the crafting of a slimmer cradle for the top display that sheds inches from the previous design (it is now only 3″ thick).
