Ideum is happy to announce the upcoming release of Power Foosball. Power Foosball is a multi-player 3D virtual version of the popular tabletop and bar game. As easy to learn and fun to use as the real thing, Power Foosball has responsive and realistic touch controls. The game offers instant replays from different vantage points and a “power up” mode where real play turns surreal. Power Foosball will be available in the Windows Store soon.

Ideum is working with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on an application that will allow visitors to visually explore Frank Lloyd Wright's domestic architecture, with a special focus on his Usonian homes. Crystal Bridges recently acquired the Bachman-Wilson House and moved it from its original location in Millstone, New Jersey to the museum grounds in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Bachman-Wilson House will be open to the public beginning on November 11, 2015.

Ideum designed and developed an application based on a timeline of Frank Lloyd Wright's work. Visitors to Crystal Bridges will be able to swipe through the timeline and view images illustrating the evolution of Wright's home designs. Visitors will be able to see images of and read history about each home on the timeline.

Increasingly, new applications designed specifically for large touch displays are becoming available. This is the second in our series of videos showing software packages that work great with our hardware. This time we focus on Bluebeam Revu, a workflow and collaboration software package that assists AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) professionals. Our inaugural post in this series focused on Live Earth software which is a situational awareness package that combines multiple global live feeds from transportation sources, weather, social media , CCTV video and more. Bluebeam Revu is designed for large and responsive touch displays. More than 20 feet long this custom multitouch table has three 86" Ultra HD touch displays and can accommodate nearly 20 users. The table is clad in Italian marble, has LED floor lighting, and 88 motion sensors. The table weighs more than 5,000 lbs. Ideum developed the shop drawings and constructed the touch table. In addition, Ideum developed the sensor and light system.

Users will register by choosing a Space Guard Name then undergoing a simulated biometric scan.
