Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. One of my resolutions will be to spend less time getting angry at the world on Twitter, where the worst of humanity seems to vent their anger at everything. I just wish people on the street would do the same! Enjoy.

This months photo challenge theme for my local camera club is "Macro". Not sure what I'll do or try to say with my other image, but this was the first idea that came to mind.

iPad Painting, with Brushes XP. Standing at my easel over the last couple of days I enjoyed the view of the garden through the open window. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance though! Occasionally a white collared kingfisher sits on the lawn.

Leased a 2016 Cadillac ATS on November 13, 2015, and turned it in early on September 25, 2018. Note the mileage at turn in: 3778.
I have never put a lot of miles on my cars, but this was much less than normal due to illness which has kept me virtually housebound for the last 18 months.
The car was a good size for me (I am only 5' 7"), and it was zippy, but not well mated to its 8-speed auto transmission. When the tranny was cold (i.e., hadn't been driven in a couple hours or so, regardless of ambient air temp), 1st to 2nd upshifts and downshifts could be CLUNKY. I knew I was getting the base, baby Cadillac, but I felt the transmission performance was inappropriate for this brand. Note that once the transmission had warmed up, the clunky shifts smoothed out for the most part.
Prior to reaching the two year mark, the CUE system touchscreen functions ZAPPED. Still under warranty, of course, but with me more-or-less unable to get out of the house, I never had the system replaced. Then, last June, on one of my drive the car around the block days (which I tried to do once every couple of weeks), I came out to find the screen for the CUE system had crazed and cracked in the heat. I have never been happier that a car was leased rather than purchased!
With no further need of the ATS, and knowing the dealer would have to accomplish the CUE system replacement before it could be marketed, I decided to part with it early.

No, here is nothing with "Drag and drop" like a tablet computer or a smartphone. The movement of jellies is on their own ;-)
Apropos touch: Bad idea to touch yellyfish-
Touching or being touched by a jellyfish can be very uncomfortable, sometimes requiring medical assistance; sting effects range from no effect to extreme pain to death. Even beached and dying individuals can still sting when touched.
Shellyfish in Shanghai Ocean Aquarium.
Jellies have roamed the seas for at least 500 million years, and possibly 700 million years or more, making them the oldest multi-organ animal.
