Beginning to put some finishing touches on everything. I'll probably have to redesign the monitor stand if I get the monitor I'm looking at, since two of them would take up the whole space.
I decided that my previous monitor raisers just werent covering my cables well enough, so I built a brand new stand from scratch. All the wires are completely hidden from view with this one, and it works much better for storage and such too.
The walls are made of mahogany and the places the monitors stand on are made of oak.

"DESIGN TOUCH" helps us "enjoy design with 5 senses" And this year, it introduces examples of "Designs that Give Shape to Dreams"
DESIGN TOUCH Exhibition - Design exhibition which fulfills dreams -This event is for realizing the 'shaping a dream into a design' which is the theme of 'DESIGN TOUCH 2009'. The exhibition is titled a 'Design exhibition which fulfills dreams', and comprehensive designs on various subjects which have been created with a unique process by 'IDEO', an innovation and design firm with an internationally renowned reputation, will be exhibited for the first time in Japan.

Direct Rail Services' Class 57/3 57 307 "Lady Penelope" buffers up to the block at Euston having rescued 92 020 after a serious incident involving a collision with collapsed Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) in Kensal Green Tunnels.
Locos do not usually buffer up to the block in this way, but due to there also being two Class 92s and 16x Mk5 sleeper coaches to fit into Platform 15, every inch was needed to keep 92 014 at the other end just about within the signal.
92 020 at the head of the Caledonian Sleeper Up Lowlander (1M11) collided with the OHLE that had come down in the tunnels just after 0617 that morning. After several hours, passengers were detrained and 57307 arrived from Rugby (via Euston) as 1Z99 (Thunderbird) to rescue 1M11 (now 5M11). The 57 dragged the stricken train into Euston to allow further inspection and passengers to collect their belongings.
Fortunately the driver of escaped injury, however the 92 suffered various equipment and bodywork damage, including broken windscreen, ripped off horn and various dents, scratches and scorch marks.
