Total Lunar Eclipse on Nov 8, 2022

I found this alone tree in a private property, and the moon can line up this tree once a year during the moonset. Fortunately it happened during the total lunar eclipse in this year.

Noreen found an ideal spot in the shallow crystal clear water's edge to get out her big watermelons. She just knew that once he spotted her, Norman wouldn't be able to resist getting a taste of her juicy melons.

As almost, this total eclipse of the Moon was outclouded. So the end could be seen here, only. Nevertheless, I´m glad to saw this view from my backyard.

Wie so oft, war der Blick auf die totale Mondfinsternis durch Wolken vrwehrt. Bin aber froh, wenigstens diesen Blick noch aus dem Garten erwischt zu haben.

Tonight's full eclipse was pretty spectacular. A Red moon as the it rose but laterly a more normal colour. I was amazed that the clouds cleared for much of the eclipse.

I came across this website which explained the genesis of the term "Blood Moon" earthsky.org/human-world/what-is-a-blood-moon-lunar-eclip...

Notice how the moon in the northern hemisphere looks "upside down" in comparison to here in the southern hemisphere!

Echter Baldrian (Valeriana officinalis). This insect and flower caught me interest, however, I cannot specify the insect. Bodensee, Steiermark, Austria.
