The Olympic Torch for the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics being carried through Sauze by an 80 year old Sauze resident.
One of the guys I work with is a hardcore metalsmith and once he heard I was taking a metalsmithing class, brought me this little present. Apparently, he's had this adorable little torch for ages and hasn't used it. There's still some butane left, but the nitrous oxide canister is empty. =( I'm hoping I can get some more locally so I don't have to order it. I know it's far from the best torch out there, but I'm so excited!

I really dislike this rotary attachment as is build quality is frankly shite, $300 shite at that. I can also not get the rotation right so it tends to involve a lot of guesswork to get the rotation number right so a 10x10mm square is not 13x10mm. Which is what happens if I do it the manuals way. 10x10.5ish is good enough after way too many attempts, though.
