I can't imagine being a torchbearer coming through Vancouver - you're pretty much mobbed all the time, though the crowds are mostly appreciative. At least the crowd around where I was seemed to be having a great time. Olympic Torch relay, crossing from Burnaby to Vancouver, Feb. 11, 2010.

Torch Ginger flowers are among the more dramatic flowers seen in Hawai'i. The plants were imported from India, but can be seen growing wild in tropical parts of the island.

This flower is just getting ready to bloom.

The Olympic cauldron is pretty damn impressive. Also its really crowded around it.
