Well, I'm not familiar with this species, but it's most likely to be a moth. MOST moth antennae are 'fuzzy' or 'feathery', but not all of them. The feathery antennae are used to literally sniff the air for pheromones. One thing that separates butterfly antennae is that all butterflies have a distinctive swelling or 'club' at the tip of the antennae, and I don't see any on this animal. Also butterflies tend to rest with their wings folded together, but not always.

Saw scaled viper (Echis coloratus) from Southern Israel.
This beautiful viper has so many colors and morph and is always a pleasure to find.
We found 4 individuals with this one being the smallest among them.
Monarch catepillar on Common Milkweed leaf in the Glen this afternoon....If you watch them long enough, you'll see the leaf devoured til the point that it can't hold the catepillar any longer...It looks "sharper" VIEWED ON BLACK;).

Not every day you encounter a fearless, blue headed, dragon looking lizard who enjoys a day time snack... Top experience!
This will be my last posting for around a week (how will I survive lol). We are off on a little adventure to visit my daughter in Victoria and travel along The Great Ocean Road (where I am sure there will be many photo opportunities - I hope the weather is kind to me). This is another beautiful flower from my neighbour's garden. The photos are not cropped and were taken with my 75-300 mm lens and all three Kenko macro extension tubes. I have checked my gardening book and I think this a a Linum flower.

# Impatiens walleriana Hook.f. (syn. Impatiens sultani Hook.f.) also known as Busy Lizzie, Balsam or simply Impatiens, is native to eastern Africa from Tanzania to Mozambique. It is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 15-60 cm tall, with broad lanceolate leaves 3-12 cm long and 2-5 cm broad. Leaves are mostly alternate, although they may be opposite near the top of the plant. The flowers are profusely borne, 2-5 cm diameter, with five petals and a 1 cm spur. The seedpod explodes when ripe in the same manner as other Impatiens species, an evolutionary adaptation for seed dispersal.
Lagria hirta

Lagria hirta is a species of beetles in the family Tenebrionidae. The species name hirta comes from the Latin hirtus meaning rough hair or rough wool, referring to the coarse, fuzzy appearance of the beetle.

Vipera aspis, spirale d’equilibrio,
percepisce vibrazioni, odori e calore.
