A little prayer for all who are giving thanks this week-end, a little prayer for all those in distress, being held hostage, have lost their lives, are caught up in mud-slides and various other disasters throughout the world. I tried my best to mess with this rose but it had a complete mind of its own and only looked worse the more I fiddled, so here it is unadorned except for its own natural beauty.
A pair of Egyptian spiny-tailed lizard (Uromastyx aegyptia) soaking the morning sun after I've been rescued them from a dark, men-made hole in the desert.
They are probably a few weeks old and are about to reach some decent size of 80cm long.

There were times when days just went by,
Lonely winds swept the earth dry,
Raging sun beamed with all its fury,
was walking alone tired and weary,
And then, you walked into my life,
I wondered why would you be so nice,
must be a dream that won't last long,
Never thought that I could be wrong,
