Toploader performing on the Main Stage at the Live @ Troon Festival.
Went to Bingley Music Live on Friday. It's a local music festival that seems to get a better line up year. Playing on Friday were various acts including Toploader. I use to be Toploader fan, so thought it would be good to hear them live again and get some photos at the same time. Thanks to nice eager security and the most vague press women of all time I missed a few tracks, but managed to get a good few shots (probably another tomorrow). This shot jumped out at me as it was a lucky shot. The lighting was very mixed and the angle I had (not inside the pit) was from one side so most shots have lovely side of stage junk in the way. The lighting for this split second dropped to mainly spots and I fired off a couple of shot and luckily had finally nailed a reasonable shutter speed ISO trade off and got a shot I really like, just a little bit of motion in the hand and not too noisey. Very little processing on this shot.

I picked up this transmission from a friend last summer for a fair price. He mentioned it feels loose shifting into 1st and 2nd. It's an original from a 69 Mustang but, from a small block car. I think I can make it work for a big block :)
Getting better lighting effects than any of the support acts. Including the fake Tom Jones...
