This huge mushroom, some kind of Bolete I believe, was growing beneath a shrub. The cap is a foot across, I know this because I measured it with my foot!
Bright orange prawns straight from the freezer. They've been in there that long ice crystals completely envelop them.
It cannot be said often enough: do not eat yellow snow!
I took this photo at Mita Beach Ice, where I can go ice skating, drink mulled wine, and fool around during the winter months :)
My outfit is new. I found it at “V8 Underground” and it's called “Galdina X Christmas Style.”
Here is the link to Mita Beach Ice and the outfit:

„Condiments are the macro topic today. Just in time for the 'Red Week', just threw a few salt crystals on the cherry tomato, and killed two birds with one stone - or what do you think...?"
„Gewürze ist heute das Makro-Thema. Passend zur ‚Roten Woche‘ einfach mal ein paar Salzkristalle auf die Cherry-Tomate geworfen, und gleich zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe geschlagen - oder was meint ihr…?“

Meine persönliche Herausforderung für 2022 - ich werd's versuchen - und mein Bestes geben…
As we descend from Sgor Mor, the clouds lift from the mountain tops, clearly revealing The Devils Peak, Cairn Toul, Sgor an Lochain Uaine and Braeriach. The deep valley of Glen Dee leading to the Lairig Ghru marches into the distance. To give a sense of scale, a walkers bothy can just be made out at the foot of Devil's Peak deep in the Glen.
At a height of 2667 feet (813 meters), Sgor Mor doesn't quite qualify as a Munro as it's 333 feet (111 meters) short, but it is a Corbett and offers some great views of the Cairngorms.
Interesting topic of conversation while on our photo walk. What would life be like living in Melbourne's Docklands? Plenty do. I certainly couldn't cope with the commute to work and I'm not so sure about the crowds. The views are great and it would suit my photography style, but I think I'll stick to the humble burbs for now.
As we descend further from the summit of the Cairn Gorm mountain, the slopes open up to give us a fantastic view of the blue water of Loch Morlich far below us. Beyond the loch, through the forests, the highland town of Aviemore can be made out, which we'll have to drive back through to get home.
Cairn Gorm, the mountain from which the Cairngorm mountain range gets its name, stands at 1245 meters (4085 feet) and is my 4th Munro of the season, my 27th in total. The hike (no bike this time) sees me covering a circuit of just over 7 miles and making an elevation gain of around 762 meters (2500 feet).
Topic - Crack
A crack is "a line on the surface of something along which it has split without breaking into separate parts". Something that's cracked is almost broken, but not quite. Often cracks are considered as imperfections, but there is beauty in the imperfect.

First of all, I want to say this is the last pic I have to take for the contest. After this round, it will be the final round, which will be dedicated to all the pics of the three finalists.
I must say I worked a lot on this pic and I don't like it... I'm so sad, because, as it is the last pic for the contest, I wanted it to be awesome... Morever, I worked a lot with my boyfriend to make the walls, the bridge and so, and I'm quite disappointed that I couldn't take a better pic :( I had to photoshop it a lot ><
Anyway, I'm glad this is the last pic, I hope Ichigo makes it to the final round after working so hard for many months.
It is the impractical things in this tumultuous hellscape of a world that matter most. A book, a name, a chicken soup. They help us remember that even in our darkest hour, life is still to be savored.

Getting nearer Troulos now but this old gate caught our attention as the skies slowly darken with the approaching storm.
this bonnet with an autumn leaf on it had to endure a continuous autumnal rain today; it seems the rain washed away all the dust and dirt : ))

These large Tomte's (the largest stands at 18" tall) are Niqui's latest crafting creations. Traditional in Scandanavian folklore, I've always loved Tomte's and these are wonderful (in my humble opinion).
The detailing on the hat is all hand embroidered and the body is needle felted as is the little Christmas tree on the smaller one's hat.
To a person uninterested in the topic of Polish railways, this picture might not mean much. Artistically it's not on a very top notch level, however it shows something really extraordinary.
In Poland in general it is really hard to spot any cargo traffic on unelectrified lines in general. The country is almost devoid of any small scale cargo shipments by rail and the entire network is now almost exclusively serving bulk traffic, which often avoids local unelectrified lines. The only exception are aggregate trains, which start in quarries on the lineside of local stretches of track and terminate on stations closest to the construction site.
This was the case with this train, which ran from Lower Silesia to Gdańsk Osowa via Gdynia Port. It however wasn't the only thing making it special. The other one was the fact, that it was hauled by two locomotives from the SM31 class - one which is almost extinct from the Polish railway network. With just under 10 remaining in service, the picture shows 1/5th of all the available SM31 locomotives in the entire country, numbers 145 and 081 thrashing up the heavy grade from Gdynia Główna to Gdańsk Osowa with the first half of a loaded aggregate train. Having left Gdynia Główna 20 minutes ago, the train is passing the old signal box Krykulec at a snail's pace, with the last rays of sunlight being visible on the trees in the background. The load of the train will soon serve as the construction material during the modernisation works on the old coal line number 201.
An interesting fact is both of the SM31 locomotives used to serve in PKP Cargo which is reflected by the paint scheme. The lime-green parts were painted over, though their familiar shapes still pop out from under the blue colour.

Almost back at Tarland now after descending from Pressendye and boy is it hot. Perfect Barley growing conditions though which is ripening nicely.
Pressendye is just a small Graham of 620 meters (2034 feet), but a 15 Km (9 mile) circuit definitely stretched the legs.
From behind the house we have open fields which, when harvested, are full of the round hay bales we see today. Looking along the tracks that run between Aberdeen and Inverness there is Kintore Station, which is very handy now for getting to/from Aberdeen.
Views across London with Westminster Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament in the near ground, looking further to St. Pauls Cathedral, the London Eye and the Shard in the distance.
55 Broadway is the original Head Office of TfL (Travel For London). Built between 1927 and 1929 it was the first skyscraper on the London skyline.
Whilst on the topic of sepia reworks I thought that I would sneak this one out.
Thanks for visiting and I hope that you enjoy the work.
