Darlie, a popular toothpaste in some Asian countries, was once called Darkie and featured an Al Jolsen-like image until pressure forced the name & image change. However, it's Chinese name "Black Man" toothpaste remains the same.

What's with mycologists that they have names like toothpaste slime and witch's butter, and worse, for fungus? I am really liking this little guy. I found him on a dead beech log, along with a family of about ten other pink dots. It's NOT a fungus! It's a slime :) and better than anything, it MOVES. That's what my cursory and completely amateur mycology research is telling me. I want a video of toothpaste slime moving. It doesn't look like much, a pink hairy bump on a log, but it made me smile big.

I expected that there would still be some waste from toothpaste remaining in this double-cap after I took it off. But it turned out there was almost none. The action of "unsqueezing" the large tube just a little bit was able to suck basically all the toothpaste from this cap back into the tube.
