tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides)

I wanted a title referring to the ocean and the longing I feel for it but its Friday so lets keep it light. :-) Meet toothless. One of my favourite salt covered fences. :-)

Happy Friday all!

Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

Vielen Dank für Eure Besuche, Kommentare und Sternchen!

The history and tradition of the Cristalica glassworks in Döbern dates back to 1867, making it one of the oldest operating glassworks in Germany. Since 2013, visitors to the world's largest glass pyramid store in Döbern have been able to admire and purchase unique glass pieces and more than 10,000 exclusive glass creations on 2,000 square meters – both from the company's own production and from national and international designers and artists from the glass scene. A special highlight is the 2.10-meter-tall, handcrafted tiger, featuring 420,000 Swarovski crystals, located at the entrance.

Summer teeth - because some are here and some are there. :-P

While I did once (accidentally) reverse my car down a flight of stairs, I can promise I had nothing to do with the damage to this one :-)

"who stole my dentures" . This tortoise could have lost a lot of dentures over the years , but can still mow the lawn without them .

Slowly becoming toothless and sway-backed, this old shed sits just west behind the huge white barn (photo uploaded yesterday.) Circa late 1920s, Southwest Michigan.

This is how it looks like, if the forest spirits put a heavy spell on you. No favorable outlook to stay like this for several hundred years.

Each year numerous people mysteriously disappear, without ever being seen again ...

We are celebrating the release of LEGO Toothless with this tiny cute guy! You can head over to BrickNerd and check the free instructions for it!

"бежжубый"

He looks like Toothless from "How to Train your Dragon" but HE IS NOT (well... I'm not sure about that).

He is Pavão ("Peacock" in English), the cat of my friend Marieta.

He is just like an avatar of chaos...

Unholy offspring of lightning and death

This is certainly not my typical architecture build! While finishing my decade-long sorting endeavor, a lot of pieces I came across at the bottom of the barrel were in black, and what a variety of pieces there were! These were the last leftovers that didn't yet have homes on my shelves or in any drawers. I began playing around with some strange connections between tubes and slopes and car parts and had the idea to bring a creature to life with all these new strange shapes I was making. Of course, Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon was at the top of my list!

This build began in June of 2018 and I've had to keep shelving the project simply because organic builds are not in my wheelhouse. I'm happy I didn't give up and that I saw this guy through to the end!

A toothless, male Gray Fox barks his frustration as he attempts to provide for his family only to find that what had attracted him to this wood pile was a recording on a predator call...no free lunch! Image was cropped vertically. All rights reserved.

Made a little Toothless and he turned out pretty sweet. He can be posed quite nicely and I've included something like a breakdown/ instructions steps.

Found this old windmill the other morning with most of the blades missing. All it has left for Christmas is it's two front teeth. HWW.

Scarce swallowtail // Segelfalter // Iphiclides podalirius

The first one I saw who's tails are still fully intact. Came by to drink at the stable.

Der Segelfalter ist in RLP vom Aussterben bedroht!

The scarce swallowtail is in danger of extinction in Rheinland-Pfalz (see: lfu.rlp.de/fileadmin/lfu/Naturschutz/Dokumente/Rote_Liste... , Level 1 classified).

Rare and endangered in Germany // Deutschlandweit selten und gefährdet ( www.rote-liste-zentrum.de/de/Detailseite.html?species_uui... )

Nothing new here, just wanted to show off some more fun poses that this guy can get

Instructions for this moc are also still available for $15AUD Send me an email at jayfajoss@gmail.com if you're interested or have any questions

I bought a Toothless minifig after seeing them on Tumblr, then performed surgery on it. Now its front legs and tail are jointed and moveable~ ^O^ Toothless can now wave, crouch, pounce, dodge and flick his tail!

Tucked under a Velcro flap on my Spinlock PFG is this short yellow section of that differs from the rest of the zipper by being yellow instead of black and by lacking teeth.

This breakaway section exists in order to ensure that the zipper opens when the jacket is inflated.
