I've had various manufactured tool boxes over the years and all have had pros and cons to their designs.
I wanted a tool box where I could see all the tools at at glance rather than having to rummage around finding what I want. This design also lets you see at a glance that the full set of tools is there rather than arriving at a job ( I do handyman type work) and finding a vital item is missing.
It is fairly light weight and had a drawer for basic nails/screws,drill bits, rawl plugs etc and there's room above the drawer but below the deck of the box for a tenon saw, mini plane and other items. .

This piece was created in my Sewing Dungeon in Franklin, PA.
I chose to make a Chatelaine as that is the only direction my brain would take me when considering this challenge. I used the gold decal from my featherweight machine to give me the stripe detail down the center of the piece. I stitched on scissors, pins and a needle for my other tools as without these essential items I would not be able to create anything. I also can corral many other tools on the chatelaine, making my working time more efficient as I will not be leaving That Purple Thang, my scissors or other handy dandy tools at the wrong work station!
This piece is 4" wide (except for the neck portion) and 49" long
I blogged more of my process here:

Cultivator Teeth are durable powder coated teeth feature a narrow throat and a wide foot for thorough cultivation under the soil surface. One tooth can be used on the toolbar for laying off rows or as many as five for more intense cultivation. Another excellent feature is that they will work on Planet Jr. Wheel Hoe.
