I desaturated the red.

I took the plunge and bought a rolling mill. With the price of silver I wanted to recycle my scrap. So far so good, though it does take more time than I thought...mostly because I have to anneal so much. I am too impatient.

I tweaked the mallet design a bit. I added a poplar pin to hold the mallet head to the handle. I also branded my logo to the bottom of the handle.

Naturally fallen Pennsylvania Poconos oak and scrap poplar. Finished with walnut oil.

Finally got around to modifying my tool (ooh errr) by removing the green lights and adding (much) brighter blue ones. Much happier with the output from these...

while following the crested macaques in Tangkoko nature reserve, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, we sometimes found more than a dozen traps in a single day...They are not set especially for the monkeys but they are a threat to all wildlife in the forest: birds, pigs, monkeys, monitor lizard...

Once they caught something, if it's not already dead, poachers kill the prey with this tool.

Inside the shed the area where the mower sets is enclosed to form a huge box. That created a shelf plus two walls to hang small items on. The hinged door acts as a ramp. It is held shut with turnbuckles at the top corners.

Do think I could build a clank with these?

Basic tools are used by the Bella Altura community to make their wood carvings.

Here are the tools for the task at hand. A kitty litter container for pieces of glass, a BFH (the B is big the H is hammer), 3 pairs of diagonal cutters, a plastic container for screws and small ferrous parts, a large screwdriver with wire to ground out the tube, a phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, awl, multitool.

Power tool battery has been being widely used in industrial and civilian small electrical appliances. The advantages of it are mainly four points, that is, high energy density, high working voltage, long service life and wide working temperature range. The most obvious benefit of going with 18650 vs 21700 lithium rechargeable battery is that the extra density means there's more available energy in them to run your tools and gear longer. The cell of the 18650s has been grown to 1000 million and that of 21700s has grown to 200 thousand in 2020.

LTSC Lithium Iron Large Cylindrical Battery

Cylindrical lithium batteries, as the name suggests, feature electrodes that are encased in a cylindrical cell that is wound very tightly within a specially designed metal casing.

High Rated Voltage

Its single working voltage is 3.7V or 3.2V, about or equal to the series voltage of 3 nickel-cadmium or nickel-hydrogen rechargeable batteries, easy to form battery power supply group; Our lithium battery for power tools can be adjusted to 3.0V by a new lithium battery voltage regulator technology, suitable for the use of small appliances.

High Power Bearing Capacity

Our power tool lithium battery has a high power bearing capacity, among which the lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery used for electric vehicles can reach the charging and discharging capacity of 15-30C, and it is very convenient for the high-intensity startup acceleration compared with other batteries.

Higher Energy And Low Self-discharge Rate

It has a high storage energy density, which has reached 460-600wh/kg, about 6-7 times that of lead-acid batteries; The self-discharge rate of our power tool lithium battery is very low, which is one of the most prominent advantages of the battery, and generally, it can do less than 1%/ month.

Bench mounted, the handle moves up and down opening the 4 jaws from 1.5in, 37mm to 1in, 25mm. The back is solid so what fits in only goes to the end of the jaws. The jaws pivot on levers fixed at the back of the tool. Not sure if the scroll means anything or is just decoration, possibly a counter weight. There are no names or markings of any kind. Any ideas as to what it was used for?
