These all fit into a small metal handle, which is also the container that stores them. None of these is more than about 2-3 inches (5-7.5cm) long. My dad used to use them for clock repairs - not his job, but one of his interests.

The village is lost in Jiang Su province, probably 3 hours from Shanghai. It has nothing special except two small old style streets and a very old bridge. Beside this bridge, M. Zhou opened his hair salon 65 years ago and he guarantees there hasn't been any change since that time.

This is the tool we use to clip the custom BrickArms. It creates a really even cut on one side but leaves the other side ragged and damaged as you can see in the inset picture with what's left of a Vampir's light.

I've got a project I want to work on later this summer, but I need to be able to draw a very large circle.
To do that, I either need to learn to be better with a skirret — a pin and a pencil joined by a string — or I need to build a very large compass. The solution seems to be this simple compass, built from a piece of scrap from my Japanese carpenter's tool box, and a dowel I had lying around from another project.
The neighbor needed to borrow some tools from me to get his bar ends out. I'd ran out of medium sized pliers.
