Carving Clay-Modelling Tool
A clay modelling tool being carved out of a piece of semi-hardwood salvaged from an old chest of drawers. The ends of the piece are finally cut off after as much shaping as possible of the wood has been done; this leaves only the ends to be rounded and smoothed. Working the wood while it is still supported by the ends made it far easier to control the shape and keep it symmetrical (where required).
