Sometimes the best tools are just pieces of scrap from the bin. You use them once in a pinch and then they become fixtures in the shop. I use this bar all the time. It’s great for binder bolts, bridges, and front derailleur braze-ons like this one. On an unrelated note, happy new year everyone! #brazeon #flux #chapmancycles
My most uses cameras for shoots and fun part 2.
Mamiya C220 (most used camera)
55mm, 80mm, 135mm and 180mm lens
Prism or Waist level finder (depends on mood)
L grip (not pictured)
If you're happy with just a 80mm lens then get a Yashica, Rolleicord for the same money as the mamiya and 1 or 2 lens.
But for any changing shooting environment this camera can't be beat, its such a great system and not as heavy as people say. Oh and the lenses are sooooo good.

The tool set was in my husband's motorcycle in a bag, Unbeknowst to him, the bag got wet and the tools ended up decaying. I asked him to leave the tools out so I could shoot them. I'll probably shoot some more again. I had the autofocus set on my camera, but I think it was aiming at the cement as the tools aren't as clear as they could be.
I shot this with the Nikon D70, then I Photoshopped it. The border is from one of my Polaroids. I used some curves, levels, and then placed another image of a texture (like metal or a rock) on top with various layer modes and opacities adjusted.
Hitachi’s slogan “inspire the next” was evident at Tameside College as myself and my peers enjoyed a photo-shoot endorsed by the company featuring their new selection of power tools.

I use Flickr as my cloud storage, so I upload everything here: I have a decade worth of photos, check out my albums!
I made a Ko-Fi page because I saw other people doing it. I don't expect anything to actually come of it, but on the off chance that you would be so kind as to treat me to a coffee to help me put more of my money towards film and bribing my models with snacks, it'd be hugely appreciated. Mass effect's Omni Tool/Omni Blade re-imagined as a ring.
Surely one of the stranger ideas that has popped into my head. Wasn't quite sure if it was "good enuff" but the design has grown on me (especially after I got the more subdued steel version).
Made in Stainless Steel via Shapeways then hand painted by me.
If you want to try your hand at this painting project:
Lab gloves, patch of FedEx envelope, tube, 2 zipties, spoke key, Leatherman Squirt, Park 9/11 and 8/10 open end wrenches, Park MT1 hex wrench, chain tool, 2 tire levers, patch kit with a few loops of electrical tape around the tube of glue, Riv burrito cloth to wrap it all up and a spare toe strap to hold it together. In other news, why hasn't notes been implemented in the new Flickr yet!!!
This TOOL is perfect for teaching ... it's my remote control for my PowerPoint presentations.
I like to think that the dim classroom lighting and brightly coloured powerpoints make my North American Fur Trade history lectures more interesting ... but then again, I'm the prof and think this is a great subject anyway! :)
Thanks in advance for all that have and are stopping by .... I am enjoying looking at your images, but injured tendon in right hand means I'm not supposed to be typing. Shhh ... don't tell my doc!

Tooled up, adjective - definition from Cambridge Dictionary Online: carrying a weapon, especially a gun drill.....!
A friend of mine who works at the Historical Research Center where I volunteer found this tool years ago and has wondered what it is. It's about 6" long, is jointed and folds towards the rod, and is all metal.
I mentioned that I belonged to Flickr and knew that there were members with all sorts of knowledge and interests. I took a photo with my iPhone and am posting it on the off chance that someone can identify the tool and its use.
