Born on January the 7th 1978 in Tortona (Italy) at the age of 14 he started deejaying at school parties and then in local clubs; at that same time he started getting involved into music production.
In June 2001 he released his very first record called "Bitter candy" under the nickname B'n'3.
In October 2001 he began to work with "J.T. Company" (owned by Joe T. Vannelli) and became resident dj at the "Supalova Club" nights.
In spring 2003 he produced "Nasty Bass", an international hit that was included in the sixth volume of the "Subliminal session" (on the label owned by Erick Morillo) mixed by Benny Benassi. This single was published in many foreign countries, such as France (Sony/Scorpio Music), Spain (Blanco Y Negro) and Belgium (541/News).
Since March 2005 he works with Stereo Seven Records as A&R and dj/producer and has remixed artist like John Acquaviva, Warren Clarke feat. Michelle Weeks, Syndicate of Law feat. D-Train, David Amo & Julio Navas, Mauro Picotto, Les Schmitz, Maurizio Gubellini, Dhany from Benassi Bros, Topazz, Weekend Heroes and many more.
He achieved great international feedback with his production "My wav" (included in compilations such as "Come with me" mixed by Mistress Barbara, Fresco Records Compilation).
On 11th of August 2007 he's one of the djs of MTV Music 4 Life Party at Street Parade 2007 (Zurigo - Swiss) with Eric Prydz, Tocadisco, X Press 2, Westbam e Kurd Maverick.
In October 2007 he released his first album "My Waves".
In March 2009 he released "Nervioso" on Fresco Records (Spain) with D. Amo & J. Navas feat. a remix from Olivier Giacomotto that reached n°7 on Beatport Top 100 Techno Chart included also in Toolroom Night Compilation mixed by Funkagenda.
In June 2010 he released "Clouds" with the german singer/producer Hatfield (Becker's partner in crime on Plastik Park Records) feat. a remix from David Amo & Julio Navas Remix that reached n°9 on Beatport Top 100 Progressive House Chart.
He appeared on international labels such as : Pacha Rec. - Definitive Rec. - Fresco Rec. - Piso Rec. - Iboga Rec. - Echoes Rec - Toca45 Rec. - Khazuma Rec.- Plusquam Rec. and many more, check complete discography on Beatport.
In 2009 Andrea Bertolini had a great experience working with the artist Dan Balan.
Him and Balan co-produced together the tracks "Chica Bomb" and "Justify Sex" witch became very successful in certain territories such as UK, Greece, Russia, France,Israel, Ukraine, Romania, Canada and Bulgaria.
In June 2010 he received the award as one of the most representative italian top 100 djs in the last 20 years.

For about 3 years i have been following Mister Yuli Fershtat around brazil, first @ universo paralello 8
and don't get me wrong it took time for me to fully enjoy and love the work that Perfect stranger has been dishing
out to the world for some time now.
As most know yuli is a household name in Israel & a world dj, playing from rainbow serpent in australia till eclispe in
Canada.
The mind behind great tracks such as Easy, prata da casa & my personal favorite Perfect ace that he did with Yoni Oshrat aka
ace ventura.

1) One thing i always wanted to ask, why perfect stranger, surely many people have asked you this before, but i've never read your reason for such a cool project name?
It’s probably because I have a cool taste in choosing names but seriously now, it just came to my mind as there was this old time goa track written by Sandman, called Perfect Strangers.. And I recon the name Perfect Stranger is really fitting my persona, as I am a perfect stranger even to my closest friends..
2) We have already broken the half way mark for 2010, what have you been up to this semester?
I am super busy lately because of many things are at work at the moment. I been flooded with remix projects, and I think I almost completely done with this task. I am dying to start writing original material again… Also there is a gigging part that is consuming pretty much time, and flying here and there takes a lot of energy and time. Last but not least we are in the middle of making a label out here so this probably the most time consuming task as we try to do something really special and special things require time
3) Future releases, what`s on the table for perfect stranger and BLT?
There are few very exciting singles lined for my in September, we will start with a collab between me and Eitan Reiter called Lizard, that was remixed to the max by the Italian bomber Alex Di Stefano. We got amazingly good feedback for the original incl. Tocadisco, Stephan Bodzin, D-nox, Dr Motte, Plastikman and many more, it seems many like that oldish Goa vibe I try to put in my tunes.. There is also a super nice remix EP for my tune Clear Vision 07’ that was the opening track on Free Cloud album, remixed by Sheff ( a.k.a Reshef from Quantize ) and Tommy Declerque. Both these singles will be released by Echoes records. Apart of that a very special remix by me to my mate Eitan Reiter’s song “Smile” will be released on Aleph Zero records, with a really neat musical package incl. J Viewz, Peter Horrevorts and
As far as BLT concerned there are few remixes ready and gonna be released probably this year, and I work on more original material and collabs. It’s not that easy to write faster stuff when you already got used to slower pace, so it takes some time. Patience is all we need!!
4) As all good interviewers we need to snoop into other people`s lives, so tell me, "stranger & balter",
I saw it on your personal myspace. I know you have done some back to backs with Avishay Balter but cold
this be the start of a brand new project or is it going to be kept only as a studio partnership?
Balter and me are very close friends outside of trance scene.. We in fact don’t collaborate at all in the studio, as at least in my opinion we both are a bit of the same we are producers / DJ mind orientated geeks. A perfect companion for us is a synthesizer fiend geek or more correctly called “a human controller” which we can manipulate to the max I think we found Avishay his mate and he is successfully writing killer bomb track with the best human controller there is, named Eitan Reiter.. This stuff will soon see the light of day and I promise you, it’s fantastic. What Avishay and me did together, is opening a label, that we purchased from Peter Didgital, and those that are into the history of trance probably would recognize it as Digital Structures.
5) & Since we are going down the rabbit hole, I have to ask, what`s up with Digital structures?
Which going to celebrate it’s rebirth by the end of September, and hopefully we will produce a single every few weeks.. Expect Psychedelic Techy Trancy delicious House experience. We aim to please
6)Let`s talk parties lets talk festivals, what`s next for you in the up coming months, when do you plan to be back in brasil?
I am playing Boom in couple of days which is super exciting as this is probably last mega festival that I need to mark a V upon, and then I can retire.. immediately from Boom I fly to perform in two Tribaltech parties ( which are probably my most favorite 1 day events in Brazil ), and XXXperience, that I never played yet and maybe it’s about time. Also it’s a bit of closing the full circle as last time 2 years ago the party of XXXperience in Belo Horizonte that I was supposed to play was broken down by a small hurricane… So hopefully this time we will make it.. Also we will visit Bahia for the NYE AGAIN, this time for 303 art festival. But this long time from now…
7) As you might have heard, universo paralello is taking a break and 303 art festival is substituing it this year, are there
any plans to play on the beautiful Brazilian shores?

8) With the decline of higher bpm acts, has this affected your amounts of gigs?
I find it hard to say, I was playing quite a lot during last 3 years.. I did notice that Prog trance became much more popular, but I am not sure that I am considered as prog trance anymore, as I don’t see myself as one personally. This specific year is pretty bad I must say, as I had a lot of parties canceled last moment, and I never experienced that in the past. Lets hope that was a one time phenomena and wont come back to our shores soon…
