This photograph shows the latest fly tipping incident on our nature reserve.
The wheelbarrow shows what was collected and included rusty corrugated tin and burnt wood as well as garden soil.Many similar such incidents have been recorded over a long period in the same area.Whilst collecting this , two black bags were noticed nearby and appear to have been thrown over a garden fence.They contained leaves.
Garden waste has a detrimental effect on nature reserves as it enriches the soil.It can also contain seeds and cuttings from specialised garden plants which can take root and spread further into the reserve; this can be very damaging to the native animals and plants of the heathland.
The discarding of garden waste onto nature reserves is against Bylaw 2(vii) and is ILLEGAL under Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and could result in a maximum fine of £20,000.

My Scanner camera project for my MA in computer arts, i basically mucked about with a load of scanners, broke some... the one i didnt break i stuck the 'scanner' inside an old SLR... abit of electrical tape, some soldering .bingo a modified camera ... this is a rather sweet image... im not gonna tell you what it is cos it'll ruin the 'mystery'

This is tip off on Jan 29, 2009 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Ga. The game was between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics. The Hawks would win 100-91 giving them a 4 game season sweep of the Celtics.
The title of this set is the same as the title of one of my abstract paintings I produced about 27 years ago when I was somewhat landlocked in West Texas and the Beach was not a significant or regular part of my life. But the title was both insightful and prophetic, and now I'm happy to share with you some of my photographs of the days in my life...at the Beach.

The first 'non-recovery' truck I'm doing for my Rennies fleet is this Super Mastiff / Clydesdale which was an HGV trainer with a tipper body. I have pinched the cream resin spare wheel from the last kit I bought from RTI, and added a headboard to the cab. The tipper body will be built from scratch when time permits.
This black tip shark was caught on a hook that already had a smaller sharpnose shark on it (notice the small shark in its mouth). This clearly shows that sharks will often prey on other sharks. Sharks of this size are very strong and require focus, strength, and cooperation to safely handle on deck.
