This card is for Papertrey Ink's 7th Anniversary Day 9 challenge: Building Blocks (see Nichole Heady's blog at nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/). I rolled a die to pick each of my design elements and ended up with pure poppy, raspberry fizz, new leaf and vintage cream, the first sketch, birthday, rock and roll technique, rhinestones and embroidery floss. It was a lot of fun to put this card together!

I put all my rub-ons in a box with dividers. In order to find each section without flipping through all the rub-ons, I hanged metal rimmed tags from the dividers with the section names on them.

Tjalk is a traditional Dutch sailng vessel for rivers and coastal waters. According to old books, tjalks anready existed in 17 century. Tjalks were used as cargo vessels till 1950ties. Now they are still used as yacths. Here is one from Antwerp harbour.
The most tipical trait of tjalk is the rounded shape of the prow and stern, as it can be seen on this picture.

En las instalaciones del Concejo Deliberante de Tigre y con la presencia de los autores, instituciones y vecinos, se presentó el libro “Tigre”.
Con la presencia del presidente del Honorable Concejo Deliberante de Tigre, Julio Zamora, los autores Javier Cófreces y Alberto Muñoz recitaron algunas de las poesías de la publicación y agradecieron el decreto Nº 655 que declara al Libro Tigre de Interés Municipal.
En tal sentido Zamora expresó: “Es muy importante este tipo de publicaciones para que llegue a más oídos las bellezas y bondades del Delta” y agregó: “Nuestro querido Tigre es cuna de grandes obras, en estas islas que tenemos aquí enfrente, se han inspirado muchos artistas y lo siguen haciendo, como el caso de Javier y Alberto que nos regalan estas 500 páginas para lectores curiosos de las bellezas y secretos de nuestro Delta”.
