This musical phenomenon comes to Theatr Clwyd for the first time thanks to Tip Top Productions.
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot. “Prologue – Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats” additional material written by Trevor Nunn and Richard Stilgoe; ”Memory” additional material written by Trevor Nunn.
The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories to Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. Among the candidates are the aging theatre cat, Gus; the rocker, Rum Tum Tugger; and the once-glamorous Grizabella, now but a faded memory of her former self.
Boasting a score that includes Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats, Mr. Mistoffelees and Memory, this compelling fable takes audiences to a fantastical world that can only exist in the theatre. Cats has been performed worldwide and translated into over 20 languages. The original West End production ran for 21 years and the original Broadway production ran for 18 years

Hablar de la pasta alla carbonara es peligroso, porque es una de las recetas en torno a la cual he oído y leído más peleas, y más violentas, que ninguna otra. Parece mentira, porque la componen pocos ingredientes, pero es que no se ponen de acuerdo ni en estos, ni con las cantidades, ni el tipo de pasta, ni el método a seguir para mantecar la pasta con el condimento para cocinar una verdadera carbonara, fiel a la receta original. Rigatoni vs Spaghetti, guanciale vs pancetta, pecorino vs parmesano, que si se hace sólo con yema, que si mitad y mitad o los huevos enteros; que si el guanciale se añade al huevo batido o salteamos primero la pasta con el guanciale y luego el huevo … Bufff … ¡Es para volverse loco! Yo me pregunto sin embargo, si por lo que he leído y preguntado, existen diferentes hipótesis en torno a estos secretos “carbonarils”, ¿A quién hago caso? ¿Por qué pelearse, si sólo puedes justificar tu argumento con joyas tipo “porque soy romano y en mi casa se hace así”. ¡Pero si ni entre los mismos que os autorizáis con el rollo del origen, no os ponéis de acuerdo!; porque es así + rollo de la wiki, sin admitir que has hecho copy-paste de la wiki o similares, pero omitiendo información descaradamente, ya que allí exponen también otras teorías en torno al tema. Que conste, que soy fan de la wiki y me parece muy bien, que la gente discuta sobre cocina, pero deja de hacerme gracia cuando la gente se pone agresiva, insulta o trata a los demás como si fueran una porquería, sólo porque no coinciden con sus opiniones. Desgraciadamente he leído a personajes que me parece que no tienen nada mejor que hacer, que ir a los blogs de gente que nunca se mete con nadie, a tocar las narices con la verdadera carbonara, salvadora del universo. A mí no me ha pasado nunca, supongo que porqué si mi blog fuera en un mapa, sería el punto “El Culo del Mundo de Villa Abajo”, pero ¿por qué? ¿A alguien le va la vida, cocinándola de una manera u otra? En todo caso, ¿por qué la gente no se limita a escribir, cocinar o recomendar la pasta a la carbonara que más les gusta o la que he comido toda la vida, vive y deja vivir en paz?
Yo os escribiré la versión que vi que cocinaba la tía de mi compañero, que es romana. Por lo tanto, diríamos que algo auténtica debe ser, porque la señora es muy mayor y se ha pasado la vida aquí. Admito que a veces la hago de otras maneras. Es más fácil encontrar pancetta decente, que no guanciale como Dios manda. Por tanto, a veces la preparo con pancetta ahumada y es también muy buena. Si por lo que fuera, no encontrarais ni pancetta, ni guanciale, hacedla con bacon ahumado. Os lo puedo perdonar, porque no soy romana. Igualmente con el queso. Si la hacéis con grana padano o parmesano, en lugar de pecorino, también es buena. Lo que sí, que no me gusta, porque hincha de mala manera, es la americana, con crema de leche. En este punto sí, que parece que todo italiano está de acuerdo. Nata, ni de broma. De todos modos. Experimentad, encontrad las proporciones que satisfagan mejor vuestros gustos. Un día hice la carbonara con espárragos verdes, en lugar de cerdo, salteados con aceite y un diente de ajo, y salió buenísima.

My wife, son and I went to our local high school basketball game tonight so I knew what I was going to shoot. Of the 80 or 90 photos I shot I liked this one of the opening tip off the best. Oh, and the final score: Hastings 54 Middleville 46. Woo-hoo go Saxons!!!

Here's another study for the series of sketches from my most impressive ex students.
Almost like the virtual model series, these are very nice and beautiful girls that have impressed me. The drawings were done on iPhone using AutoDesk SketchBook Pro or Brushes, drawing only with the tip of the finger. Like with the virtual models some drawings were bulit up over other drawings or over a couple of pictures on an underlying layer. Some were completely changed even in relation to their original inspirations, just as the drawing fingers acquire their own will.
These are all studies on the representation of colours, lights and on finger drawing on the small screen of an iPhone.
