Noticed this super tiny little fly of some sort sunning on the tip of a spruce tree needle. Hard for me to hold steady enough for sharp focus but had to give it a go.
My grandmother is a great woman. I just stumbled across this photo (from a visit a couple of years ago), when we were picking out pumpkins to carve! What a blessing she is and has been!

This butterfly was very small, and I took a lot of shots. This is the one I like the best. This butterfly has a dark dot on the upper wing, but it is hidden behind the lower wing in this shot. I’m not sure what species this is, but it was cute and furry.

These tiny red spiders were found on a fence in my garden and on a stone garden ornament. the one on the wood was so small it was not much bigger than a pin head.just a moving red spot. the one on the stone was a bit bigger and we could just tell that it was a spider. The photo with the finger just shows how small the stone spider is!! What really amazed me was the pattern on the spiders back ! it looks embossed ...So beautiful.
A tiny caterpillar (amongst its droppings!), found on a leaf in the garden of the cottage we rented at Fiscavaig Bay, Skye. Any ideas on ID much appreciated.
made with vintage calico and thrifted linen, and closes with a vintage grey button and a loop of green ribbon. just big enough to hold the essentials, but still small enough to fit into those tiny pockets they insist on putting on women's pants.

This was one I found a couple weeks ago, I tried enlarging it to see what she is holding but still can't tell. The photo is only 1.25"x 1.5".
This tiny thing took all day somehow, I wish they went faster so I could have a whole tree of them it's so cute!
This hole is only 1/2 inch in diameter, so you can imagine how tiny the bees are. My husband had drilled this hole in one of the gate posts to use as a string holder to open the gate, he decided not to use it, so all these tiny bees moved in. It was amazing to see how many of these little bodies they could cram into that hole.

First let me say that I am not a complainer. But now having said that, after waiting 7 months for tiny Chocola Fairy Haru I was very disappointed. Not in the doll itself, in the lack of faceup. I took a long time deciding which one of these three color choices I should order, and in the end it came down to which faceup I like the best. I chose the normal skin white mint. I like the yellow tones to the very fair skin, no issue there. The faceup other than the eyes and brows was very pale, almost no lips, no definition to her nose, it was invisible, the tattoo under her eye is so small you really cannot see it. I took pictures (you can see them in my photostream) and packed her up to sell. As you can see I changed my mind. I added color to her faceup, I beveled the inside of her sockets a bit, the eyes sit well now, and I elfed her ears. I would have never touched them had she been perfect to me. I am glad I did not sell her. But I still feel sad that after that very long wait Lati should have given me the faceup that I paid so much money for. If I wanted to do a faceup on her, I would have ordered a blank. Sorry for the rant, I will get off my soapbox now.
