Miss Penelope, one of female resident Anna's Hummingbirds, sipping nectar! Sher chose our Salvia Greggi for her flower choice. I love how she is holding her tiny feet! Photo taken in our backyard in Camas, Washington.

"Every particle of the world is a mirror. In each atom blazes forth the light of a thousand suns. Open the heart of a raindrop and you will find a hundred oceans. In a grain of sand lies the seed of a thousand beings."

Image measures less than 1 1/2" on the long side. The dried flower is just under 3/8" (1cm). Placed on a glittery box with a flashlight off to the side for light.
Happy Macro Monday!
