This is actually one image which I split in two. The white balance looked very different after I did that. The background is one piece of paper, not created with textures. These are really the tiniest vases I have. Unfortunately one of them let me down by leaking into a wooden table.

The Ochre-faced Tody-Flycatcher occurs in two disjunct regions in South America: in the humid Andes from southern Peru south to northwestern Argentina, and again in northeastern Argentina, eastern Paraguay, and eastern Brazil. Four subspecies usually are recognized, two in the Andes and two in eastern South America, but there are only minor plumage differences between these subspecies. All populations readily are recognized by the bright buffy sides to the head, with a contrasting olive spot on the auriculars and an olive crown. This species is insectivorous, traveling solitarily or in pairs in the understory of humid forest and foraging with short sallies. The nest is a bulky, untidy, hanging nest with a side entrance. Little is known of its reproductive biology, but it has been reported as a host species for the brood-parasitic Pavonine Cuckoo (Dromococcyx pavoninus). The Ochre-faced Tody-Flycatcher usually is fairly common, although at times it may be difficult to see when foraging in dense vegetation. 9–9·5 cm; 5·3–6 g.

These tiny little mushrooms show up on the trees after a good rain. it's like playing Where's Waldo with mushrooms!
Macro Mondays - Tiny
Image measures less than 1 1/2" on the long side. The dried flower is just under 3/8" (1cm). Placed on a glittery box with a flashlight off to the side for light.

This fly was tiny, about 2 or 3mm long at most. I was really surprised to see that it was eating an even smaller insect (maybe a springtail). Due to the size, I couldn't even see its meal till I looked at this photo on a bigger screen. Photographed today at Lake Waterford in Maryland.
The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a railway viaduct on the West Highland Line in Glenfinnan, Inverness-shire, Scotland, built from 1897 to 1901. Located at the top of Loch Shiel in the West Scottish Highlands, the viaduct overlooks the Glenfinnan Monument and the waters of Loch Shiel.
My advice if you want to get this shot is get there early, it gets packed
