Last year, I had the pleasure of partnering with a fantastic group of people called Icing Smiles. Icing Smiles is a non-profit organization that provides custom celebration cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. I am THRILLED to share with you my very first Icing Smiles contribution. I wish that I could make an Icing Smiles cake every week! Happy Birthday Riley and Angel!
"Barbi's world turned upside down in November of 2009 when her daughter Riley was diagnosed with 3 brain tumors. The tumors cause seizures and Riley's big sister is her guardian angel when the seizures start. Appropriately, her name is Angel. The largest of Riley's tumors in inoperable so they are unsure as to their course of treatment. In the meantime, they are going to celebrate every day with Riley as the gift that it is. Riley & Angel both celebrated their birthdays in January and Mary Katherine created a cake the girls could only dream of and we could not be more proud of.
This is why we do what we do..., "I just wanted to thank you so much for everything you've done. All Riley did was smile all day long. Her face when she saw the cake was just priceless! Her and Angel were so proud for all of their friends to see it. Mary Kathrine did an incredible job and the cake was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Thank you so much for this! My TinkerBell LEGO sculpture.
An original MOC (My Own Creation).
Based on the 1953 Disney Classic Peter Pan.
TinkerBell is 1.05 meter tall, has an estimate of 10,000 LEGO parts (no other materials have been used) and took nearly 5 months to design and build.
For easy storage and transport, TinkerBell comes apart in 10 sections. With those sections, setting up TinkerBell is just a matter of a few minutes.
I have not yet made building instructions for TinkerBell, but when there are enough requests, I will make them.
Tinkerbell borrowed a dress 👗 from one of my other dolls. It has May embroidered on it, and the color goes with Tink’s shoes. I added some streamers and stickers to make Tinkerbell the May Queen 👸 👑. Tinkerbell is always one to go over the top, so she has both a tiara and a flower crown!
tracy hines is one of my favorite cosplayers to shoot. she's so beautiful and she definitely looks the part of the disney characters that she usually cosplays.
As a kid, I never liked Tinkerbell in Peterpan story because I thought she was such a meanie to Wendy and was way too jealous for someone who is a fairy. Of course, that was before I fell in love with someone so as an adult I can understand her feelings more and quite like her as she is.

The same image as before, only I spiced it up in Photoshop. At first I thought I went overboard on the pixie dust, but then I rememberd this was Disney, you can never have too many sparkles.

My friend suddenly ordered tinkerbell cake...and she choosed tinkerbell house cake for her niece birthday...she ordered on friday afternoon fo saturday...wow..so suddenly...hehehe...

Fun and girly cake for a very cute little girl. Everything except the tinkerbell topper was handmade.

NEWSFLASSSH: omgomgomgomgomg. I GOT A PRO!!!!! All thanks to TONY Thank you soooo much! This means so much to me ^^
Bit of a cliché to say the least, but I've always wanted to try this, but thought my fish tank was too small for peppers ... until Tuesday when I found these little 'tinkerbell peppers' in the supermarket, and I just had to have a go! They're tiny - about an inch long.
The focus isn't perfect, but it's not too bad for 'school' night 365 shot. :)

My favourite scene from Peter Pan is when Tinkerbell is furiously jealous of Wendy and Peter's growing relationship. Here is my moc based on that scene.
