I didn't expect Nigella Orientalis at the end of summer - it usually flowers in May when self-sowing...
Similar timing to the last Smelt Bay shot, this was shot about half an hour before sunset. Enjoyed the clouds in this shot.

Motor is currently at 715 k km's. Timing belt and water pump were last done at 605 k km's about 9 years ago. The condition of the existing parts looks ok for having been through billions of rpm's in the 110 k km's of driving but I'm not taking any risks. 1hz's are venerable engines.
Ok, as you can see the black car, which was an undercover cop, with the grill strobes , is in the wrong lane.It was flying down the hill and cars started to scatter to make way. Not enough way on the appropriate side. So it shot into the left hand lane, just in time to avoid the median. The camera was off, but I had that gap there and about ten seconds if that. I clicked it on, said screw the right setting and clicked while it was before the gold car, and everything synched. Now, had it been sasquatch, or and alien, this would be something. :) I can train myself on errant police cars.
