From 5th January 2015 the route X1 (Lymington-Bournemouth) has had it's sunday service withdrawn. Also the route 119 (Lymington-New Milton) and route 191 (new milton local service)has had it's saturday service withdrawn. Taken at New Milton on January 17th 2015.
Would you believe I have stashed away these 1970s-vintage airline timetables for posterity?
Weird, I know.

An interesting bus times information sign up in the bus shelter at the Saddle stop in Blackpool. Stagecoach route 61 passes this stop while working out of Blackpool towards Preston. Notice that the Monday-Friday and Saturday times at the top and the middle of the sign show the times for buses heading to Preston, which is correct for this stop. However the Sunday times at the bottom show times for buses heading into Blackpool only. Not good if your wanting to travel on a Sunday to Preston. Which is just what I was waiting to do when I took this picture.
This bus stop, in the rural village of Staple east of Canterbury, until recently had a generally hourly bus service on Mondays to Saturdays with Stagecoach's commercial route 14. This was controversially cut in September 2017.
As shown by this timetable, there is now just one journey operated by Stagecoach on schooldays-only route 44. It seems rather pointless that they have updated the timetable, as the villagers are highly unlikely to use this journey, which is the 16.37 to Westwood Cross via Sandwich and Ramsgate.
Since the change, Staple has gained a once a day 'shoppers service', a KCC-contract operated by Regent Coaches. This was an existing service that has been diverted to serve this village. Its better than nothing, but a far cry from the service this village once had.
Two trains at the exact same time, one is highlighted in red. One is inter-city, the other is inter-regional. Guess which one I remembered when I turned away from the timetable? (Not to mention that having the timetable organised by minute of the day instead of destination is dumber than a bag of spanners.)
Another time table mistake, this time at Preston Bus station. This is the time table information for the 109 route that runs between Chorley, Leyland & Preston. Its worked by both Stagecoach North West and John Fishwick & Sons with a combined frequency of every 20 mins. Stagecoach operate two buses per hour with Fishwick operating the third bus each hour. Although the timetable provides the times for each departure, it doesn't show which operator operates which service. It actually works as the xx.05 departure being Fishwick and the xx.20 & xx.40 departures being Stagecoach. This information would be handy to know as the two operators only except route rider tickets and return tickets issued by ether operator. Any other tickets are operator specific. Also the two operators run to a slightly different route in the Euxton area and serve different stops in doing so.
