A corner apartment building I saw on Lafayette St in Manhattan.Sorta fits like puzzle piece in the larger building (or vice versa since the smaller building came first). The Puck Building and the chateau firehouse I showed you are also on Lafayette St which was named after the American Revolution War hero Marquis

I love to catch this tree in the changing seasons each year. I have a capture from one winter that still ranks as one of my favorites of all time. I find myself going back there from time to time to check in and see how she’s doing. This is from a few weeks ago while it was still officially summer. I had the idea to capture us together. 10 second timer so I could get in the shot.

This place is whats known locally as the Nine Arches going towards Earlstown in St.Helens.I'd had the idea of trying a shot here for a while, just needed some misty conditions.........,which came yesterday morning :)

Set up on a tripod with self timer, thats me in the shot having hastily run in to provide a focal point!,took a couple of attempts as I wanted to make sure I was within the arch ;)

Thanks for looking,

Chris.

A rare find, up in the Lasithi Plateau. Rare too was the amount of snow up there. I wonder what story's you have to share.....

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Improvised long exposure shot from this evening's walk home from work - I didn't have the tripod with me, so this was setting the timer then sitting the camera on the stone ledge of the bridge over the canal, looking east past the modern townhouses and house barges, toward the historic Leamington Lift Bridge, with recent new buildings visible on the left.

yes, I keep going through my Paris files and I still seem to find pictures which I've forgotten about :)

.. I just loved this old white Citroen, it took me dreaming to other times:)

Based on the car I designed, I built this garage to give it a worthy home. Had much fun with all the details laying around and playing around with light a bit!

Sadly, there's not much left of the great retail empire other than a website and a handful of stores.

A old-time essential darkroom interval timer, it is still a wonderful thing.

I finding it a difficult task breaking apart my much loved conventional darkroom apart and disposing of all the superb equipment I had bought over the years. Still I have nearly finished now and there has been nothing cathartic about this action at all for me - just the lovely memories.

I was walking home from work, so wasn't carrying the tripod, just set the timer on the camera and sat it on railings and tops of gates to steady it, and crossed my fingers (sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, but not like I am wasting film by trying!)
