So Flickr friends may or may not remember a certain creamery that Tom and I frequented during our time in the US. Well, we were visitng Tom's dad for Canada Day and stopped in to Tim Horton's only to discover that Coldstone Creamery had struck a deal with Tim Horton's. Apparently Tim Horton's will now be joined with Coldstone and it's set to span across all of Canada. How cool is that?

WOW! This is Tim. He was walking, on a leash, in front of the medical clinic when I spied him.
This is not a case of he-looks-big-because-he-is-closer-to-the-camera-than-his-person! At just 2 years of age he is HUGE!
I was soooo taken with this boy. He was very friendly allowing me to pet him on his head, rub his feet and scratch him under the chin.
While Tim's tummy is greyish the rest of him was as black as his face.

Today I was honored that an artist I greatly admire contacted me to ask permission to post-process one of my self portraits.
I think he did a gorgeous job.
To think, it was one that I almost didn't post.
If you don't know him already, do yourself a favor, and browse his other work!
Flickr creator and friend Tim (from the UK) expressed interest in American cheese. This was in connection with pizza images I've been posting. At any rate I thought I'd post a little still life to give him a sense of what American cheese and American cuisine are like. Enjoy, Tim. And please don't be jealous. I'm really not trying to show off.

I decided to buy Tim a Buddha for the garden for his birthday (back in January) in the hope it brings us some luck, and I've just found out this info, which good, as ours happens to be facing the east: Placing your Buddha statue in the garden is excellent for meditation and protection. Do not place your Buddha statue directly on the ground. To bring abundance to your home the Buddha needs to be facing the house. Try and place the Buddha facing east towards the sunrise.
I chose this one as I really liked his smile and kind face.
Just when we think there is no more we can do in our garden, Tim has the idea of putting up some trellis, as a kind of windbreak for some of the plants, with a 'bird station' at the top!! Here he is attaching new bird feeders.

We receive lots of camera donations here at The FPP but every now and then there's something for The Gang! Thanks FPP listener Doug Golupski for the Tim Tams. Fist time "Black Forest" flavor!!!
I stopped by to see my neighbor Tim, he was working on his yard. He is in the military and was supposed to deployto the middle east a week ago but he has to have knee surgery so he gets to stay stateside for the surgery and rehab afterwards.

They were remodeling the Hot Topic at the Cary mall, so they moved it to an empty storefront. Unfortunately, the empty storefront used to be a Bath and Body Works, so some of their gothiness has been rained on.
