Q: Why do they put 11 Tim Tams in a packet?
Could it be so that you buy more than one packet ... or you break one to share :)

Tim joined in with my hunt for reflections, and here is his picture of the new apartments at Gunwharf!
My favourite shot from tonight's collaboration with Tim Gamble using a combination of gelled flashguns, a camera rotation tool and bag full of OCD. Shot in one photographic exposure in an old lime kiln in Derbyshire. One thing I learnt from tonight; always have a friend who vapes, they make good smoke for light painting!
Made especially to celebrate Tim Noonan's birthday, ahead of time! He will be traveling on his birthday next week. I hope this birthday will be full of exciting, new adventures that will surface in his future paintings! Happiest birthday, Tim!
I got to hang for an evening with a friend from Peace Corps Vanuatu who lives in New York. We took a few quick portraits before parting ways.

Unlike most birds, Cuckoos (also Woodpeckers and Parrots) have evenly balanced feet with toes 1 and 4 pointing backwards and toes 2 and 3 forwards. The name for this unusual configuration is zygodactylous and means "yoke fingered", a yoke being the evenly balanced beam across the shoulders of oxen or humans for pulling or carrying. Although if you very closely you can see that the toes are not even because just like birds with typical feet (three toes forward, one back) the hind claw (toe 4) and the middle front claw (toe 2) are longer than the others. Here you can see a big difference in the size of the two forward pointing toes.
This was the remarkably confiding juvenile Cuckoo that I found on the Peak District Moors a few weeks back. Rather unusually you can see some white bird droppings on its plumage, that I assume has been left by its Meadow Pipit foster parent when it perched on its back to feed the young Cuckoo.

_Tím không cần nhung lụa với vàng son
_Tím đơn sơ trong cuộc sống tâm hồn
_Tím chấp nhận thả mình trong bóng tối
_Tím bước đi không có hoa trải lối
_Tím cuối đầu thua thiệt với quyền uy
_Tím chua cay khi tình chẳng còn gì
_Tím u hoài với niềm đau chất ngất
_Tím lặng lẽ yêu gió buốt vào lòng

This was the moment that this Chinstrap Penguin launched itself from its kelp-covered rock into the sea. I say launched itself but it could have just lost its footing on all that slippery seaweed. They make frequent forays to sea in search of krill and amazingly they swim up to 80km offshore each day in search of good hunting areas. Like all the small penguins they lay two eggs and share the incubation and chick-feeding duties. I took this photograph near to a breeding colony at Cooper Bay on South Georgia.

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Tim and Rebecca yesterday. It was a beautiful day, if a touch on the hot side at 103 degrees.
The ceremony was just 50 yards from this wheat field, so of course we had to go out and make a few images in it!

This one's a different embroidery style than I usually do, but I've always wanted to try out some redwork.
Tim invited us all over for a small dinner party. Not knowing him well I assumed it would be a small meal and we'd be there for a short time. I was wrong. Tim went all out, making wonderful food, and we were at his house for quite some (enjoyable) time. Tim has a real cool style, this is his dining room.
