Spotted on a doorstep on Church St in Hove. Either some people had a tiny party...or some tiny people had a party.
I spent my christmas holiday cleaning out my garage (albeit a short lived attempt). One of the boxes contained a collection of dancing barbie dolls that I've had around for at least 10 years. My intention was to actually use these dancing dolls for an art project that never happened. So I decided to take them out of the pristine packaged boxes and actually USE them for decoration. AN INSTALLATION of sorts really. I've always thought it would be fun in a quirky way to have the dancing crazy corps de ballet be something other than a little girl's fantasy and turn them into objects de art. hanging art. hanging crazy art!

A bit late with this upload but here it is. I have a good backlog built from film in varying size to plenty of digital. Might even start uploading every day ;)

I've been having a good time exploring making composites and collages on the iPhone 4. Every new idea presents a new set of challenges and it's fun to find ways around the problem and figure out just how to go about it and which apps will help create the image I have in mind. This one was made from four different photos. The layering and layer masking was all done in PhotoForge 2, and several other apps were used for color seasoning, blurring, noise and the edges.

Tonights cocktail is the ever wonderful Gin & Tonic (G&T) many will say this is not a cocktail well I'm sorry but your wrong. Any mixed drink can be called a cocktail and this one is so often got wrong.
The G&T needs due care and attention a tall glass filled with ice, a large (50ml) measure of gin, 120ml of tonic and a large wedge of lime.
The brand of gin is up to you it's all about personal tasteI like Bombay Saphire, Tanquery 10 & Hendricks you make yours the way you eny it.
Is it a toy model? No! Well... not really. Uh, well maybe. It's the fake Eiffel Tower at The Paris in Vegas. Half the size of the original, can you believe they initially wanted it to be actual size? That is so Vegas.
This week was maybe my least inspired week with the iPhone imo. Had very little in the way of ideas on what to shoot. Ended up grabbing this the other morning while I was in the backyard, the reflection caught my eye. Tortured the saturation in Tilt Shift Generator. I think I need to get Camera Bag app, so that I can mess with contrast and color with out having the blur. Even with the slider all the way down, you still get some.

A temporary skating rink. This skating rink is not made of ice, but made of "reinforced plastic and volatile wax". It is applied volatile wax to the surface of the reinforced plastic panel.

These are the boots I was wearing in the accident that broke my back. The boots are the only thing I have left from that day.
Hands down the best shoe I've bought this year (yeah I know it's only just started)!...
Now all I need is the Black/Cement and the Cool Grey III's, then I'll be satisfied!
A photo I took a few weeks back with the TiltShift Generator + Mill Colour method, but with the addition of Autostitch for the panorama. The photo is a little blurry, but still interesting to see how you can use panoramas with TiltShift Gen & Mill Colour and get good results.
