I am featured on Just What I See and you really have to read it because, boy, that's an amazing piece!
Velvia slide scanned and processed in iPhone 3GS. Apps: tiltshiftgenerator, BlendCam, Lo-Mob, PhotoDesk. Texture courtesy of darkwood67 @ www.flickr.com/photos/darkwood67/3245506508/in/pool-textu...
Shot from the same location as my last faux-tilt-shift shot, but this time it was after dark!
The metadata somehow got stripped, so here's how I did it:

Newcastle railway station, or Newcastle Central Station, is the mainline railway station in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, England and is a principal stop on the East Coast Main Line. It opened in 1850 and is a Grade I listed building. The railway station is connected to the adjacent underground Central Station Metro station on the Tyne and Wear Metro.
Mainline services are operated by CrossCountry southbound to Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth and Reading. National Express East Coast operates southbound to York, Doncaster and London. Both of these companies run services northbound to Edinburgh and Glasgow. First TransPennine Express provides services to Manchester. Northern Rail operates local and regional services across the North East and Cumbria, notably to Carlisle via MetroCentre and to Middlesbrough via Sunderland.
Well, this is the seventh photo in a series of six 16:9 portraits of the Forbidden City. Kind of like the free track on your favorite album when you bought the digital download. It was taken from the top of the man-made feng shui hill of Jingshan Park. It was more or less an uninspiring photo with nothing special to say, so I opted to leave it out. The details I liked were all on the moat bridge (which was built in 1928). But, since this is a last hoorah for this format on my photostream (I've long since sold the LX-3), I ran it through the online tilt shift generator for a little fun.
More fun in full screen mode in the slideshow.

I finally put together the dining room set I've always wanted to have! The chairs came from a reproduction house in Los Angeles and are copies of the AARNIO - COGNAC CHAIR, made between 1963-1965. My table came from KLASSIK in San Diego, a mid-century modern store where you can find some great deals of used classic mid-century. The table top is made of wood, cut especially for the base, which is not a Saarinen tulip base, but is from the early 60s and is made out of metal like the Saarinen base. Altogether I am very happy with the outcome. Now all I need is some sort of rug...more to follow!

It's not important to the picture, but some might find it fun to note that the single large Kanji character in the background, above the head of the woman on the right, reads "drugs". ;-)

I used Tiltshift Generator to blur one of the pictures where it was interferring with the other.

It's the middle of summer. Beaches, Ice Cream, Ice Pops, Late Sunsets.... Chuck Taylors too seem like a summery item. This pair, my wife's. Another design classic.

I add most of my shots to the map here on Flickr, some of the map locations it gives are funny. This area is called the Medical District although the shot is of the parking garage at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets and there is merely one clinic nearby. Oh well, perhaps the treatment here is retail therapy!
Processed with Tilt Shift Generator for a bit of blur, contrast and color tweaking before being output with ShakeIt. Btw, I can't say enough about the improved quality of the iPhone 4's camera.
