where no one was watching.

they could learn french without
feeling silly about pronouncing

to stand up straight.

the car fumes right back into the
air with no one casting
an annoyed stare
at their lack of
environmental consciousness.
plus,
they said,
the tax assessments done on
residential property
located in tunnels
were extremely soft on their wallets.

Some of you may have seen a post I did some time ago about a tile panel I did for ceramics class A tile panel I did for ceramics class based on a XVII century tile panel (we had to choose a tile and the pattern from that tile had to appear in our final work). Well, I had to do it again because the teacher thought the size and composition weren't right, so this is the final panel which will be in an exhibition about the tiles from the XVII century in the National Museum of Tile in Lisbon (Museu Nacional do Azulejo). The opening is supposed to be in the 3rd of July and it will last for about 3 months. If you are in Lisbon at that time you can go there and see it and if you go to Lisbon some other time I advise you to visit the museum, it's a really great museum.

these little ceramic tiles are made of a warm red clay, and have been bisqued and glaze fired with majolica glazes whose characteristic effect is watercolor-esque. they are 1x1 inches each.
they are made by first bisquing the tiles, then doing a white glaze fire. next, the color glazes are applied and the tiles are fired again.
note: at least one hole is blocked by glaze on each of these tiles. you can glue them down, and hide the holes with a glued in seed bead, if you like or epoxy in short lengths of wire to emulate sewing.
Vintage dollhouse tile flooring to scale! We had a pink tile bathroom when I was a little kid! And I think we had a pink and black tile kitchen! Actually, the bathroom was real ceramic tile and the kitchen was scary linoleum.

i originally wanted tiny old school white hexagonal tiles for the floor but left the store with big ass tiles (12" x 24"). i think it looks rather pimp myself.
