Mike the Tiger - LSU's Live Bengal Mascot.
Plenty of challenges in shooting this big guy today. First, it was very overcast and not much light. Then, he would not stop pacing. I think it's because LSU got placed in UNC's bracket and would have to play them in the 2nd round...so the pacing is understandable. And finally, I was shooting thru 2 layers of heavy-duty fencing, which is probably a good trade-off!
This great tiger was in a zoo (Terra Natura, Spain). Between us a small lake and a solid and dirty glass with as many fingerprints as you can imagine.
Tiger. In from the rain and relaxing. A trip to ZSL London Zoo is alwasys worthwhile. The weather was tragic, with constant rain, but there are always shots to be had indoors and the advantage was that I almost had the zoo to myself.

Got lucky in the zoo, Kristiansand Dyrepark. The tigers were not hiding, and they even looked right at me a couple of times. Edited from raw in camera.
I took this tiger photo last fall at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. The tiger was sitting in a big nest of leaves. He seemed to be very comfortable there!
