Um dos animais mas belos do zoo. O que achei estranho é que eles viram a pedra que estava de molho na frente da jaula e ficavam passando lÃngua, devia estar com fome aquilo era saboroso para eles.
Guntur ♂ (Thunder in Indonesian), Sumatran tiger from the Smithsonian National Zoological Park (the National Zoo) in Washington DC, USA @ Zoorasia, Yokohama, Japan. He was born between Rokan ♂ and Soy ♀ at the National Zoo in Washington DC on the 24th of May, 2006. He has two sisters, Maharani ♀ (Queen) and Melati ♀ (Jasmine).
There was another tiger behind a closed door roaring constantly and this female was responding in kind.
Male Sumatran Tiger born September 2001, now living at San Antonio Zoo, TX. Only cub of the first litter of National Zoo's tigers Soyono and Rokan.

Hands on - the tiger cubs were harnessed and brought out of their enclosure so we could get close and touch them.
They are being raised to go to zoos/animal parks in South Africa (or further afield).
