It was haircut day today, took about an hour and a half. If you look at my last picture of him (titled Staring) you can tell the difference :-)

Whilst digging out a row at the end of the plot for the comfrey, decided to clear the other side which already had a raspberry, blackberry and rhubarb in amongst some long grass. Discovering this was couch grass, I dug it out, battened the back along the public path inbetween the plots, popped some membrane down and mulched with some chippings that a available to allotmonteers to act as a temporary fix until have more time to tidy this bed fully. I had some spare canes to have begun to train up the blackberry over this for now.

Sorry, we seem to have put our foot in it.

Some scuffing on the steering wheel (looks like entry/exit rubbing) and some light creasing on some of the leather.

Much better. I also picked up primer and flat black spray paint to repaint the frame and swingarm. Grabbed some flexible rubber mat backed sandpaper as well. Looked useful, but we'll see if it's something I'll be getting more of, or just a bunch of snake oil.

Down Tidy Street, near the lanes in Brighton, they've painted facts and figures about the streets energy consumption for the first few months of the year. A very cool idea, and it quite interestingly shows that the residents have been well below the Brighton average in that time.

Which explains why there are so many more paintings on the other site, suddenly!
