Photographers Marlin Harms and Dennis Sheridan led a photohike to Carrizo Plains. Everyone certainly had a very special day that will be remembered a long time.
I ran across this guy in Cirebon, Indonesia. I'm not sure how long he planned on sweeping up this beach, but he was very determined.
Since I actually tidied out the garage properly yesterday I thought I would record it for posterity (before I inevitably refill it with rubbish motorbikes ;-)
Mountain bikes live in the stone shed... so I don't need to worry about getting them in here... think I can fit at least 4 or 5 motorbikes in here though.... he he he he he.
On the right, a tidier version of the distance-annotated diagram. Pencil overlay shows likely route.
On the left, scribblings about train ticket prices to get to mid-Wales, and some distance / shortcut calculations.
The red writing on the left was done on the first day of riding - based on actual cycling I reassessed my on road and off road speeds, and made the decision to cut out the southern loop of the ride. I'm just too slow!
