After a one-woman show at the Traverse Theatre. For most of the show she sat behind the desk, playing a Hollywood mogul's secretary and used a wide range of paper props, often cut-outs of glamourous movie-stars, and discarded them around her.

The Cork Approach Road was landscaped and planted by Fermoy Tidy Towns in 2010 as part of the overall theme to have all approach roads to Fermoy having a similar look from a landscaping view point. The Cork Approach Road was planted with native trees mainly Oak, Scot’s Pine and Birch and these were augmented with beech.

Taken while on a sunday drive, checking out the wildflowers. It was so hot out there the last two days that I don't expect the inland slo county flowers to last much longer.
The 2010 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Tidy Schools in the Community Awards took place in County Hall, Dún Laoghaire today, where the much-coveted award for Tidy School of the Year 2010 went to Mount Anville Primary School, Stillorgan.
The school’s hard work was clearly illustrated by the pride taken in the maintenance of the school grounds and their proactive approach to environmental issues affecting their school and the environment around them. Particular attention was given to the local wildlife with the children growing nectar and wildflower meadows, maintaining a native tree corridor and providing special homes for bees and hedgehogs.
